Reed straightness must meet the requirement ±0.1mm worked out by PICANOL, DORNIER, SMIT, SULZER, PROMATECH etc rapier looms, otherwise the following trouble will arise if choosing other reeds:
Obvious increase of consumption and safety problems of other loom parts and accessories.
This technical index of reeds is normally ±0.4-0.8mm or even 1.0mm and deformation appears. As we have a fully-autimatic high-precision straightening machine and testing instruments, the straightness of our reeds can be controlled with ±0.1mm The straightness of high presicion reeds can reach 0.1mm.
